What causes green flames on my gas barbeque grill ? - gas barbeque grills

Each element sends a characteristic set of colors of light when heated. Green is typically issued as by copper. My guess is that the copper on the burner.

You can try the shutter, where the air into the tube that are drawn to the burner. It should burn with a blue color when the gas-air mixture is delivered correctly.
